PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROCESS
Consultation + Brief
1
The consultation is arguably the most important initial stage in the design process. This is the very first meeting where the project to be undertaken is discussed. You can present us with as detailed a brief as you like, or alternatively allow us the creative freedom to guide you.
Site Survey
2
After the initial consultation, our designer will return to your property to conduct a site survey. This will include taking measurements of the space to be worked on, as well as noting any key details about the space.
Concept
3
The concept stage is where you'll first see the direction in which the design is heading. We'll present initial mood boards showing ideas and products we are considering for your project. Communication is key at this stage as this is where the majority of changes and choices happen and it is vital that both you and our designer are heading in the same direction with the creative vision.
Design
4
The design stage is the most creative and visually stimulating stage, as its where all the initial steps come together! In the form of a presentation of detailed mood boards, 3D plans, elevations and floor plans, as well as pricing quotes from contractors and a full costings sheet reflecting the projects estimated cost.
Procurement + Contractor Work
5
The procurement and contractor stage is really two separate key steps. The procurement involves the designer buying (on your behalf) the items finalised in the design stage, as well as receiving the deliveries, storing them for you and where necessary, negotiating with various companies and suppliers on your behalf. Whilst this is going on, any contractor work to be done on your project will be going ahead, under the watchful eye of the designer to ensure the final design brief is being met. Having these two stages running simultaneously allows for consistent communication between two vital aspects of the project; fittings and fixtures, and ensures that any issues that arise can be quickly solved without having to call someone back at a later stage.
Final Install + Styling
6
The final install involves the installment of larger items such as kitchens/sofas/tables etc as well as completing any final snagging. Once this is all in place, our designer will also professionally style the space ahead of the final handover.
Handover
7
After much hard work from the designer and their team (and hopefully plenty of relaxation from you), we will handover the now complete and beautifully designed and furnished space to you!
